Are you an Andrew Lloyd Weber fan? I sure hope so because buzz around the theater world is saying four "new" productions will be surfacing in New York and London. There are reports that a revival of the feline frenzy on stage, also known as Cats will be co-produced with Cameron Mackintosh in 2013.
And back at home in New York, the much hyped Stratford production of Jesus Christ Superstar, the new adaptation of The Wizard of Oz, and the horrid Love Never Dies may find homes in the coming season. IF they all appear at the same time, Sir Andrew could be represented by four shows, including the original and sequel of The Phantom of the Opera. What say you folks? Ready for ALW 24/7? Is this just a ploy to get a theater named after him? Or are you secretly wishing the only show that would be revived would be Starlight Express?
